 In 2018, SWMI completed two Investor Surveys and received a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 69; in 2020 the NPS was 68. NPS can range from -100 to +100; a score of 50-69 is considered “excellent” with regard to client satisfaction, retention rate and fuelling referrals.

Here at Skyline Wealth, we believe investing doesn’t have to be complicated. Our investment products aim to reduce portfolio volatility, offer tax efficiency, and offer investment growth.
All the investments that Skyline Wealth offers are private alternative investments – meaning they don’t trade on the public markets. By keeping Skyline investments private, it means investors’ holdings remain decorrelated from public markets. This way, we’re able to provide a historically stable investment experience and help provide you with greater peace of mind while you work toward your investment goals. Additionally, by keeping the investments private, the real assets form the basis of the value of our investor’s holdings – not market sentiment. Instead, we think that real estate has an inherent value driven by how the property is maintained and managed, combined with the revenues generated from rent or alternative revenue streams such as solar panels.

THE SKYLINE STORY
Skyline Wealth is proud to be a part of Skyline Group of Companies (Skyline), a Canadian asset acquisitions, management, development, and investment entity.
Skyline had its beginnings in 1991 when brothers Jason and Martin Castellan were living in a rental house while attending university. They soon realized that owning their own home and renting rooms to other students would help offset their ownership costs and, in turn, create a profit. This idea sparked a fundamental business model that would transcend the next 22 years and $5.4+ billion in real estate and clean energy assets under management.
Jason and Martin Castellan, along with their close friend R. Jason Ashdown, continued to buy student rentals and grow their business. They eventually shifted their focus to apartment buildings and officially launched Skyline in 1999.
In 2005, Wayne Byrd joined Skyline’s C-Suite as Chief Financial Officer, helping to catapult Skyline into its next chapter as it adopted a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) structure for its apartment investments, allowing investors access to a growing pool of real estate. Skyline Apartment REIT was launched in 2006.
As Skyline Apartment REIT continued to experience growth and success, the Skyline team was presented with other types of real estate opportunities. Skyline Commercial REIT was launched in 2021, and Skyline Retail REIT was launched in 2013.
Additionally, efficiencies opportunities, such as installing solar energy systems on property rooftops, began to help generate alternative revenue streams. In 2018, Skyline leveraged its expertise in these clean energy systems and launched Skyline Clean Energy Fund, providing investors access to a growth-oriented sustainable investment.
